Overview

The Tehama Web CIT (Configuration Interface Tool) is a web application designed to allow users to monitor the status of their Tehama Wireless Submeter System online. This guide covers the steps to create a new user account and add a property (site) to your dashboard.

Part 1: Creating an Account

Follow these steps to register a new user ID.

Step 1: Navigate to the Portal

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Tehama Web CIT.

  2. On the main login screen, look for the help link below the "Login" button.

  3. Click the link labeled: "Create New Account".


Step 2: Enter User Information

  1. The "Create New Account" form will appear.

  2. Fill in the following fields:

    • Login ID: Create a unique username.

    • Email: Enter a valid email address (e.g., you@where.com).

    • Password: Create a secure password.

    • Repeat Password: Re-enter to confirm.

  1. Click the Create button.

Step 4: Verify Your Email

  1. A pop-up will appear asking for a Verification Code.

  2. Check the email inbox you provided in Step 3. Look for an email from no-reply@verificationemail.com.

  3. Copy the code from the email.

Note: If you do not receive the email immediately:

  • Check your SPAM or Junk folder.

  • Click the Resend Verification Email button on the portal if necessary.

  1. Return to the Tehama portal, enter the code into the Verification Code field.

  2. Click Ok.


Step 5: Log In

  1. Once verified, you will be automatically redirected to the main Login Page.

  2. Enter your new Login ID and Password.

  3. Click Login to access the dashboard.

Part 2: Adding Your Property (Site)

Once logged in, you need to link your specific property to your account using the Site Name and Access Code.

Step 1: Add a Site

  1. From the main dashboard (Site List), locate the green button in the top right corner.

  2. Click + Add Site.


Step 2: Enter Site Credentials

  1. An "Add Site" pop-up window will appear.

  2. Enter the specific credentials for your property:

    • Site Name: The exact name of the property in the Tehama system.

    • Access Code: The unique security code for that property.

  3. Click Save.

Important: If you do not know your Site Name or Access Code, please contact Tehama Support at Support@submetersolutions.com.

Step 3: Request Permission

  1. After clicking Save, you will see an alert stating: "You need permission to view this site".

  2. A "Request permission" form will appear automatically.

  3. Fill in your details:

  4. Click Save to send the request.


Step 4: Access Confirmation

Once the administrator grants permission, the property will appear in your Site List on the main dashboard. You can now click on the site name to view its status.
