How to Replace the Battery in an Inovonics Transmitter
Replacing the battery in your EN1501 transmitter is a straightforward process that you can complete in just a few steps. By following these steps, you can easily replace the battery in your EN1501 transmitter, ensuring it continues to function correctly.

Tools and Materials Needed
A new CR123A 3V battery (available at local grocery stores, drugstores, etc.)
Instructions
Locate the Edge with the Lip: Start by finding the edge of the EN1501 transmitter that has a lip.
Open the Lid: Push firmly with your thumb against the lip to open the lid. The lid is designed to hinge open from the opposite side.
Remove the Old Battery: Once the lid is open, locate the old battery inside the transmitter. Grasp the battery and carefully remove it from its compartment. Note that the battery type is a CR123A 3V.
Prepare the New Battery: Ensure you have the correct replacement battery, a CR123A 3V.
Insert the New Battery: Position the new battery so that the plus (+) side is on the correct side. Firmly press down to insert the battery into the compartment.
Test the Transmitter: After installing the new battery, press the button on the transmitter to test it. You should see lights flashing, indicating that the transmitter is working properly.
Close the Lid: Once you have confirmed that the transmitter is operational, carefully close the lid until it snaps securely into place.
Tips
If the transmitter does not function after the battery replacement, double-check that the battery is inserted correctly with the plus (+) side facing in the correct direction.
